The event is being led by Pathways CIC's Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Health and Wellbeing Service's inclusion team, and designed to bring together international families and their friends living within Cheshire to celebrate health, wellbeing and multiculturalism of local residents.
The BME Health and Wellbeing Service is funded by NHS Vale Royal Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Chair Dr Jonathan Griffiths said 'NHS Vale Royal CCG are determined to ensure that our service users have a safe and positive healthcare experience when using our services. The International Health Day offers us a perfect opportunity to listen to your views and learn from your experiences, helping us develop services for the future’
The free event is scheduled to open its doors at 11am and will run until 2pm. There will be plenty of fun activities for the whole family, with arts, crafts and performances scheduled throughout the day.
Manager of Pathways CIC, Mark Franklin added ' The International health day will be a fantastic opportunity for local residents to learn more about health and wellbeing in general, we will provide an opportunity to talk to local services about good health and how it will benefit the whole family. We want to use the event to showcase the growth of diversity within Cheshire and celebrate multiculturalism. The event will be fun-filled for all the family'.
